Your Agent’s Working Hours (Work Times)
Conversica offers the flexibility to configure your agent's working hours to suit your business needs. While your AI agent is capable of working 24/7, most customers find success when they align their agent’s working hours with their company’s business hours. For example, if your business hours are:
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Your agent’s work times can be set up to only send messages during these hours and not engage in the evening or on weekends.

Your Agent’s Holidays
By default, your AI agent does not work on major holidays and other holidays defined by your business.

Best Practice
Conversica recommends aligning your agent’s holidays with your business. In general, your agent should not work on days that your team does not work. This ensures that if there is a lead response requiring human intervention, there is a team member available to assist.

Automotive Sales AI Agent
Your Automotive Sales Agent is capable of working 24/7 by default. This drives engagement and gives you an edge over your competition by increasing your availability for late-night online shoppers and those with non-traditional schedules (e.g., early birds, swing shift and graveyard workers). Most customers who find success let their AI Agent work after hours and on weekends. However, your agent’s work times can be customized to fit your needs.
Automotive Service AI Agent
If you have an Automotive Service Agent, Conversica recommends you align your agent’s working hours to match your service department’s business hours.

Business Hours
Your agent is capable of responding with your dealership’s business hours when a lead inquires. If a lead asks a question like, “What time do you open?” or “Are you open on weekends?”, your agent can respond with your dealership’s business hours.
To enable this feature, please notify your Customer Success Manager or Technical Support (support@conversica.com) of your dealership’s business hours so they can be set up for your account.
Note: Business hours and working hours are separate settings. Business hours define when your AI Agent can share your operating hours with leads — they do not control when the AI Agent sends messages. Working hours (work times) control when messages are sent.
