Like any new employee, your new Conversica AI Assistant will have a schedule with defined working hours and even holidays. This article covers your Assistant’s schedule and working hours.

Your Assistant’s Working Hours (Work Times)

Conversica offers the flexibility to configure your AI Assistant’s working hours to suit your business needs. While your AI Assistant is capable of working 24/7, most customers find success when they align their AI Assistant’s working hours with their company’s business hours. For example, if your business hours are: 

• Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM;
• Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Your AI Assistant’s work times can be set up to only send messages during these hours and not engage in the evening or on weekends. To configure your Assistant’s working hours, please work with your Technical Account Manager.

Your Assistant’s Holidays

Your intelligent AI Assistant does not work on major holidays and other holidays defined by your business.

Additional holidays observed by your business can be configured as non-engagement days with your Assistant Out of Office settings.

Most customers who find success let their AI Assistant work after hours and on weekends. However, your AI Assistant’s work times can be customized to fit your needs. 

Automotive Service AI Assistant

If you have an Automotive Service Assistant, Conversica recommends you align your AI Assistant’s working hours to match your service department’s business hours.

Business Hours

Your Intelligent Virtual Assistant is capable of responding with your dealership’s business hours when a lead inquires. If a lead responds to your Assistant with a question like, “What time do you open?” or “Are you open on weekends?”, your AI Assistant can respond with your dealership’s business hours.
To enable this feature, please notify your Customer Success Manager of your dealership’s business hours so they can be set up for your account.
