Introduction
An integral part of the Conversica service is sending emails on your behalf from your virtual assistant and being able to receive email responses from prospects for interpretation and follow up.
Sending using SMTP
This option allows Conversica to send emails through your domain using your email servers.
Requirements:
Cloud-Based Servers
You will be asked to provide the following information:

SMTP Server host name (e.g. smtp.abcinc.com) and SMTP port number (e.g. 587)

Create an email account for Conversica use (e.g., mail@abcinc.com)

Web Access URL for the email account

Credentials to access the email account

Username and password
-

Confirm sending limit: emails/day and submission rate
Locally Hosted Server
You will be asked to provide the following information:

SMTP Server host name (e.g. smtp.abcinc.com) and SMTP port number (e.g. 587)

Create an email account for Conversica use (e.g., mail@abcinc.com)

Web Access URL for the email account

Credentials to access the email account

Username and password

Input the IP addresses below to a whitelist

Our sending server IP’s: 54.214.244.102 and 52.26.59.64

Confirm sending limit: emails/day and submission rate
To ensure that we are able to operate the Conversica service without interruption:

Never manually send messages from the account
-
Never intercept or alter messages in the account

Have a sending limit that can facilitate your sending volume

Account username must never be changed
-
Account password must never be changed if credentials were provided to us

The email service provider must have the ability to forward all incoming mail from the account to another address

Do not remove forwarders
Receiving via a Forwarder
Once you have created an email account, a forwarding email address must be added to that account in order to send responses back to the Conversica system. Your TAM will supply you with the proper forwarding address to use and you can set it up yourself.
