Effortlessly extract a comprehensive lead data CSV file from Conversica by downloading leads directly from the Lead Manager. This empowers you to explore lead insights beyond the confines of Conversica's platform and seamlessly collaborate with colleagues who may not have direct dashboard access.
User Permissions Needed
To use Download CSV: Manager or Administrator roles
Considerations
- The data in the CSV file matches the filters and visible columns that are applied in the Lead Manager List View. To change the data that will appear in the CSV file, you will also need to change the filters or Table Preferences in your Lead Manager view.
- Fields that contain multiple values (e.g., phone number or email), will have each value displayed as a separate column in the CSV file. For phone number and email fields, the column name will indicate the source of the contact information followed by the number of the additional value (e.g., "Phone-From-Lead-Source-1", "Email-From-CC-1", "Phone-From-Response-2").
- Any date column in the Lead Manager (Date Added, Date Created, Scheduled Date, Last Response, Date Turned Hot, and Closed/Won Date) will be set to the local time in accordance with your Company Settings. However, in the downloaded CSV, the data will reflect the time in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)
- The tool currently supports the ability to download 80,000 leads from the Conversica dashboard.
- If you have filters in place that result in a larger lead download, please send a case to our support team (support@conversica.com) with the details (what filters/date range, etc.) you need the leads downloaded and our team will assist.
Instructions
- Navigate to Lead Manager.
- Click Download Leads.
- A window will pop up, allowing you to choose where to save the CSV file locally to your device.
Note: The option to Download Leads will appear on both the List View and Response View of the Lead Manager. There is no change to the file data if you are on different views, as long as the filters are the same the file will be the same.
Best Practices
-
Select Only What You Need:
- Optimize your download by choosing only the essential fields for your analysis in the table preferences tool.
- Remove unnecessary columns to keep your file size minimal.
-
Narrow Down Date Range:
- Limit your date range to the specific period you need, reducing the amount of data processed.
-
Be Mindful of Large Files:
- Consider opening large data pulls in a new tab, allowing you to complete other tasks while Conversica exports data to a CSV.
