Editing Conversations
Are you ready to start customizing your Revenue Digital Assistant’s™ conversations? If you are a Conversica Admin (or Manager with Admin permissions) follow the steps below to easily activate the Conversica Conversation Editor allowing new or existing profile members to view and/or edit your current conversations. If you would like to activate the Conversation Editor for a Group Profile, please reach out to Customer Support at support@conversica.com.

Conversation Editor

View: profiles with these permissions can only view the messages their organization uses for campaign outreach.

Edit: limited customization access, can view messages and customize Variables (Standard Messaging)
- Users with these permissions can view campaign messages and edit standard variables to personalize them.
- Note: Edited variable information transfers to custom messages if used. Ensure users with limited customization access are trusted to edit variable information.

View: profiles with these permissions can only view the messages their organization uses for campaign outreach.

Custom Messaging: Edit, full customization access.
- Users with these permissions can view campaign messages and fully customize them, including text formatting, adding, editing, removing variables, and using AI to rewrite content.
- If the Custom Messaging permission is checked it will auto check the Conversation Editor View and Edit boxes as well if not checked already.
- Note: When a user views an attempt with Custom Messaging enabled by another user, but lacks custom message permissions, they can still view the message mode, preview by variables or values, and access Tips & Tricks. However, they will not have access to the editing toolbar or the ability to click into the message to make edits.

Schedule Editor:

Edit: Grants users access to edit the timing of your conversations initial messaging attempt.
Note: Permissions are handled on the Profile level, not by individual user or team levels.

Edit: Grants users access to edit the timing of your conversations initial messaging attempt.

Conversation Rules:
- View: Grants users access to view the Conversation Rules in place for a better understanding of the routing logic in place.

Edit: Allows users the ability to create and edit Conversation Rules.

Answers:
- View: Provides access to view current Conversica Answers.

Edit: Allows users the ability to create, activate and customize Answers.
How to Edit Permissions
Note: Permissions are handled on the Profile level, not by individual user or team levels.
- From the Conversica Dashboard, click Settings > User, Profiles & Teams.
- Select the Profile you want to grant access to.
- If you want to create a new profile, follow the steps in this article.
- Click Edit Settings.
- Scroll to Conversations, and select the permission(s) you want to grant.
- Click Save Changes.
Once saved the changes will immediately go into effect for users associated with that Profile. Once saved, the Conversation tab will appear on the Dashboard overview page.
