How to exclude from messaging: eLeads Email Opt Out
Hey Conversica Community,
I've just onboarded a dealership who uses eLeads. They have noticed some leads who are oped out of email in their eLeads profile, but have still been messaged in Conversica.
I asked where the Opt Out lives, which field it's entered in so I could have Conversica create a rule to exclude those leads from being message... all he knows is that a yellow Warning icon is next to their email if they've opted out. He's not sure how it gets there.
How do other eLeads customers exclude leads who've opted out of email?
Please and thank you,

Hi Sydney,
Thank you for asking another great question in the community!
Our integration with Elead does not automatically process opt outs recorded in a customer's system, so our recommendation would be to find out which status they are using to record opt outs, and include this as a status exclusion in the Success Plan. This is how we've seen other Elead customers account for this behavior, so you are definitely on the right track!
Once you have located the status that denotes opt outs (i.e. DNC for example). Please feel free to submit a ticket to partnersupport@conversica.com and we can implement the exclusion rule to handle these for your customers with Elead as their CRM.
