Introducing the Multiple Campaigns Update: Enhancing Scalability and Simplifying Rule Management
We understand that our customers face challenges when dealing with a large volume of rules required to support their processes. Additionally, the inability to enter a rule set for more than one campaign/list from CRM has been a limitation. Many customers have two campaigns/lists targeting the same type of leads and using the same messaging, leading to duplicated efforts and configuration time.
Our team is excited to unveil the Multiple Campaigns Update, a powerful enhancement to our Conversation Rules feature. With this update, we aim to improve scalability, reduce time spent on recreating rules, and support multiple CRM lists/campaigns within a single RuleSet. This enhancement is designed to empower you to streamline rule management and achieve greater consistency across multiple campaigns.
How it Works:
- Creating a New Rule Set:
- Navigate to the RuleSet Manager under the Conversations Tab in the top navigation.
- Click on the "+ New Rule Set" button above the list of RuleSets.
- A modal will appear for the user to enter the required information to sync the Campaign/List from the CRM.
- The user can add up to 15 campaigns to the RuleSet at the time of RuleSet creation.
- Editing RuleSets:
- On the RuleSet Manager Page, click on the pencil icon to add a campaign to an existing RuleSet.
- A modal will appear with the current details of the RuleSet.
- The user can add up to 15 campaigns to the RuleSet by selecting the plus icon that displays another field to map an additional Campaign/List.
- The user can also replace the current campaign with a new one if needed.
- Note:
- The form will not allow the user to submit if it doesn't have a mapping for at least one campaign.
- All rules created will apply to every campaign/list mapped to the RuleSet.
- Customers will not be able to choose a segment of rules to apply to a specific campaign. For such scenarios, customers should create separate RuleSets.
- Adding/removing a campaign will be recorded in the Rule History for that specific RuleSet.
- No migration is needed, and the update will not affect current account configurations. Customers can choose to utilize this flexibility based on their needs.
Key Highlights:
- Enhanced Scalability: The Multiple Campaigns Update allows customers to handle larger volumes of rules effectively. By supporting multiple campaigns/lists within a single RuleSet, customers can consolidate and streamline their rule management process.
- Improved Efficiency: customers can now reuse business logic and messaging configured for one campaign in another, saving valuable time and effort. This update ensures consistent and standardized rule application across multiple campaigns without requiring additional configuration steps.
Use Cases:
As a user, if you have an active RuleSet designed for events with complex logic for segmenting leads into various Contact Lists based on lead status, you can now add a new campaign to the existing RuleSet instead of creating a new one. This simplifies the rule management process and ensures uniform messaging across campaigns.
Roll Out Plan:
The Multiple Campaigns Update has been released today, August 3rd. No migration is needed, and the update will not affect current account configurations. Customers can choose to utilize this flexibility based on their needs.
