Thinking of migrating to a new CRM or MAP? Top 3 things you need to know!
Conversica is compatible with many popular Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Automation Platform tools. And if you are a current or prospective customer, you most likely already have a CRM or MAP to organize your lead data that can then be integrated with Conversica. But what happens when your organization decides to transition into a new CRM or MAP solution? Chances are, Conversica will be able to accomodate this transition and get you back up and running in no time.
Here are the top 3 most important things you need to keep in mind when making this change.
- Choosing a Solution
- Conversica Dashboard & Lead Data
- Additional Rep Training & Cost
1. Choosing a Solution
Regardless of the CRM or MAP tool you use, Conversica most likely has an integration available for it and is always in the process of expanding to others. From Salesforce to Hubspot to Marketo to a dedicated API instance, we’ve got you covered.
However, if you are in a position to influence the decision of which new CRM or MAP tool your company will be utilizing, Conversica highly recommends Salesforce. Our Salesforce integration is the most robust and the most flexible as it allows you to maintain most of your current organizational processes due to being a managed app on the AppExchange. It is also the only integration that does not require a unique separate login and can be accessed directly from your own Salesforce organization.
2. Conversica Dashboard & Lead Data
If you are a current customer, you know that your account includes a Conversica dashboard where all of your data resides. This data is effectively in a silo and cannot be transferred to a new dashboard or to a new CRM.
You can certainly continue to use your original dashboard when migrating, however the data within the dashboard and within Conversica’s reporting tools will continue to mix together with your new integration data and might be difficult to parse or organize in the future.
We highly recommend setting up a second dashboard when migrating to a new integration as this will provide you with a clean slate to build your new platform on and provide you with confidence that all reported data is up to date and accurate. You will still have access to your old dashboard and data, so don’t worry about that.
3. Additional Rep Training & Cost
In most cases there is a fee when migrating to a new integration. Please contact your CSM for more information on how to begin the transition process.
Depending on the integration, additional rep training may be required. If you are moving from Lead Uploader, Hubspot, Marketo, Dynamics, Eloqua, Pardot, or an API integration to Salesforce (or vice versa), your reps will need training as access to Conversica will change.
Be sure to factor this in when preparing your team and setting new go-live dates.
Let’s go!
Organizational changes can be time consuming and difficult, but managing your connection to Conversica isn’t!
