QuickStarting Your Corporate Onboarding Process
Once you begin your onboarding with Conversica, there are a few things to consider in order to jumpstart the process. Prior to the initial kick-off call, our Technical Account Managers will send over an Implementation Project Plan Review email with some important information and documentation for your review.
In this post, I will be laying out the following items you can start on prior to the kick-off call for a more efficient and smooth onboarding:
- Assistant Configuration
- Subdomain
- CRM Integration
Assistant Configuration
Depending on your contract, you may have one or more Assistants that your team will be utilizing. During the onboarding process, some of the first things you will want to think about are the Assistants Name, work hours, and title. For work hours, we recommend the same hours as your employees however, we will defer to your team on what those hours will ultimately be. For the title, we will list examples but depending on the use cases, these titles may vary from Assistant to Assistant. In the IPPR email, we will be presenting examples and best practices however, prior to the initial kick-off call, it is recommended that you come prepared with some options in mind.
Example:
Assistant Name: Olivia Thomas
Title: Ticket Operations Assistant
Work Times: M-F 9AM-5PM
Subdomain
In order to engage your leads in the most effective manner, your Assistant will need to have a dedicated email domain that has the appearance of someone from within your organization. This is where the subdomain comes in. We can use specific subdomain names that cater to your use case, such as info.yourorg.com, sales.yourorg.com, tickets.yourorg.com, cmail.yourorg.com, etc. Understanding your use case and having some options ready prior to onboarding will be beneficial for a smooth and quick kick-off.
Integration
Lastly, once you receive the integration documentation from your TAM, it is important to have your CRM admin or Tech team go over it and begin working on the integration. This way, your team will have sufficient time to review the steps and bring any questions to the kick-off call. Having your integration set up and ready in a timely manner is an important part of having a quick and successful onboarding, and we have happy clients to show for it!. Whether it is Salesforce, Dynamics, or any other accepted CRM software, we have the documentation ready for your team to review and begin!
