The Advanced Settings are where you can configure rep assignment and other settings for the account. Advanced settings for all of Users, Profiles & Teams can be found in the title bar at the top of the page. Those with Manage All Users permissions can modify the Advanced Settings. Administrators have these permissions by default.
- Navigate to Settings > Users, Profiles & Team, and click Advanced Settings.
- Complete or edit the following fields:
|Default Rep||The Default Rep is used when there is a reason the originally assigned rep cannot be used. The Default Rep can be set to a specific rep in Team Settings or you can select Round Robin to distribute unmatched leads randomly between reps. Refer to Default Rep for more information on the Default Rep setting.|
|Rep Type Preference||Set the rep type that you want Conversica's system to prefer when there are multiple rep types assigned to a lead or customer. For example, if your integrated system assigned both a Sales Rep and a BDC Rep to a lead, you can select Sales Rep to tell Conversica to always set assignment based on the Sales Rep.|
|Prefer Conversica Rep Assignment?||This field defaults to No. Whenever there is a conflict between rep assignment in your system/lead source and Conversica, Conversica "wins" if set to Yes.|
|Default Messaging Name||
Enter a Default Messaging name if you would like all Conversica messaging to be sent on behalf of a single rep's name.
Important: Changes to this field will only update the Messaging Name field for reps that are added after a Default Messaging Name has been defined. Changes are NOT retroactive.
- Click Submit.
