Deactivated Leads: Capapilities

    Hi Sydney!

    This is a great question, thank you for breaking it into 2 parts. 

    1. Yes, if the lead has been deactivated and is eligible to be sent a Reply as Assistant message, the lead will receive the message. If the lead is not eligible to receive a Reply as Assistant message, the option will not display. By default, a lead must reply to your assistant at least once before Reply as Assistant becomes available for use.

    Additionally, you will not be able to use Reply as Assistant on leads who have either unsubscribed from further communication or whose response to your assistant has labeled them with the status "Do Not Email."

    2. Alerts can be customized by the user or team. There is a specific alert for lead responses to Reply as Assistant messages. This alert is a default alert that new users are automatically opted-in to. Check out this Alert Settings article which goes into more detail and has a video example.
